About this Blog

This blog was created by Azarius as his third (relatively) serious attempt at blogging. Its goals are twofold and could be summarized by the expressions “self-communication” and “diffusion of ideas”: we write at least as much to organize our own thoughts (and simply for fun) than for others to read about them. By no means does that imply that we don’t think what we write is worth reading.

Topics featured on this blog are very eclectic, ranging from usually serious reflections on politics, philosophy or free speech to somewhat less serious writings on pastimes such as anime/manga or video games. Still, a few common denominators make the blog a nearly coherent whole:

- all the writers adhere to strong libertarianism;
- all the writers are politically left-wing, albeit not equally radically so;
- all the writers are highly critical of contemporary society;
- all the posts are designed first and foremost to make the reader think and question his/her assumptions about “reality”.
