Humanist Education and Freedom
I have long called for a radical reshaping of education. More recently, as I find myself agreeing with panarchism, I have discussed with Reikoku of what could education look like in a much more libertarian world. The general idea of a modular education at all levels, outlined in a previous post, remains relevant. However, several [...]

Freedom, Reality, Morality…
An ideally free society isn’t a utopia where there would be no murderers and no rapists. There will most likely be humans exhibiting excessively anti-social behaviour for as long as mankind exists. Investing resources towards the eradication of crime as a concept is the broader problematic approach that comprises absurdities such as the “war on [...]

The Case Against Rights
Can we ever go back to those unbroken spells of love and life? Why are we born to see misery and fight death? Wouldn’t winning put an end to the purpose of life?

A Fable of Left and Right
Politics, in the end, are ethics : the quest for the “common good” that defines politics presupposes an understanding of what is “good” and what is “bad”. And the current world, despite its obsession with “rationality”, still fundamentally takes into account moral ideals such as “security” and/or “freedom”, “equality” and/or “opportunity”.

Political Orientation Test Revision
The third major revision of my Political Orientation Test was recently completed. It was quite certainly the most important revision up to now, and several sources of “bias” (reminder: there is no bias to properly speak of in an opinion test) were stamped out, thanks mostly to the advice of my friend and economic nemesis [...]

What Does Freedom Mean? Basically
Much has been written on the concept of “freedom”. And yet it remains vague, and different meanings of the word are often used within a single context. That is because people’s opinion of what freedom should be irremediably taint their use of the world. This post aims to explain the basics of any coherent principle [...]

Alternate Path to a Political Ideal
For quite a while now, I have been thinking about what could constitute a realistic transitory system to reach anarcho-communism, while avoiding the need for the dictatorship/bloody revolution heralded by Marx as the easiest way to implement communism. Recent debates allowed me to develop what I believe to be such a system.

Tips for Revolutionaries
There comes a time when even the most lethargic person desires meaningful change. This is a guide for such people. The first tip goes without saying. The camera is more deadly than the gun or blade. If your ideas are anything near desirable, violence will only taint your intentions. As such, violence is only appropriate [...]

Introduction to Anarcho-communism
While discussing on the Internet, I am often required to explain just what is this “anarcho-communism” I speak of. And furthermore, why would anyone think that society should work towards it rather than try to fix the political systems in place? This article will be a quick attempt at answering these questions as to avoid [...]
