		<description>Interesting blog pieces, I haven&#039;t read them all yet but I have a question. What is the mechanism for dealing with conflicting laws? For example:

Alice subscribes to a legal/political system that is based on strong geoist philosophy. As such she does not recognise ownership of things such as land. On an afternoon hike she wanders through a patch of land that Bob identifies as his garden. Bob subscribes to a different legal/political system to Alice that does recognise ownership of land and allows defence of said land by any means necessary.

How would a court made up of both parties plus another (or more) reconcile this? The two philosophies do not have a compromise; one says you can&#039;t own land, the other says you can. Any decision by the court is surely going to favour one legal/political system over the other. That being the case is it not so that in a panarchic system there would be dominant legal/political systems and philosophies?

Any discussion or insights would be appreciated :)</description>
