Ramblings on Political Opinions
I have created the following diagram of possible ideologies (inside the square) and utopias (outside the square) in the 21st Century as part of the first appendix to my mid-term essay in Idéologie et société (SOC 4709) with Diane Pacom – a course that is highly relevant to my interests, and to this blog. [Click [...]

Political Orientation Test Revision
The third major revision of my Political Orientation Test was recently completed. It was quite certainly the most important revision up to now, and several sources of “bias” (reminder: there is no bias to properly speak of in an opinion test) were stamped out, thanks mostly to the advice of my friend and economic nemesis [...]

Web-based Test Up
Thanks to toruvinn, the web-based version of my Political Orientation Test is now on-line. Is is still however in a pre-release state and a few problems were reported by early testers. Using Firefox, Chrome or Opera is recommended to pass the test at the moment.

Privacy is not Private Property
I am a politically active anarcho-communist – an ideal which I will explain in an article on this blog in the future. I often discuss about my ideas with other people, very few of which have a good knowledge of Marx’s philosophy. I tend to repeat that I would mostly agree with Marx’s global analysis [...]

Adulthood: Redefining Maturity
Preamble All over the world, the concept of adulthood has been intertwined with legal age in what is in reality a slapdash way of deciding when one acquires control over one’s person, decisions and actions, and terminates the legal authority and responsibility of the parents (or guardian(s), in lieu of parents) over the child’s persons [...]

Political Orientation Test
In light of comments and of my own – rather high – opinion of the test at http://politicalcompass.org, I have created a “Political Orientation Test” by inspiring myself of the concept used on that site. My aim was to create a test that is more simple, more intuitive, yet much more polarising than theirs. Additionally, [...]
